Tulsa, OK born and bred, Bob grew up in a musical family in which everyone sang and played an instrument. One of Bob’s earliest memories is of hearing his mother sing. At the age of 6, Bob began playing rhythm guitar. Inspired by the Beatles, Bob went on to play other styles of music including jazz, classical, 40’s & 50’s standards and classic rock. Bob found his musical home in country music, with Chet Atkins and Ricky Scaggs as major influences. Bob has been a fixture in the San Diego music scene for the past several years.

A San Diego native, Doug recalls many transcendent moments listening to Top 40 radio songs in the 50’s and 60’s: the years of early rock, oldies, Beach Boys, Stax, Motown, and the British Invasion. As a surfer inspired by early Beach Boys music, Doug took guitar lessons from the soon-to-be guitarist of Iron Butterfly until he attended a party where a drum kit was set up and Doug discovered his fondness and knack for drumming. Doug went on to play drums in a local dance bands for 15 years. In addition to drums, Doug also plays guitar and is an accomplished songwriter. One of his songs, “Native Stranger” was selected to be on the 1979 Homegrown album.
